Once I have set eyes on my target, there are no obstacles large enough to detour me. I have been modeling off and on since age 5. It all started around my 5th birthday with some hot rollers for Glamour Shots! I wanted those pictures done so bad that I didn't make a sound while the rollers were burning my ears while getting ready. The hair/make-up lady was upset that I had not spoken up, but I didn't want my hair to be a mess during the photo shoot! My mother took notice in my dedication and commitment to this. She helped me throughout my childhood, finding honest photographers who could use my talents and she was always at every interaction. Around age 14/15 I was offered a chance to be in the National American Miss Pageant. I sold chocolate bars for $1 a piece, making a $0.49 profit per candy bar to raise almost $3,000, in less than 6 months. I paid for the registration, the hotel, the rental car, gas to get there and back, food for my entourage of 3 and myself for two days, the tuxedo rental for my father and my $1,500 dress! Talk about some hard work to achieve a goal. Even though I did not place, I felt so accomplished being on that stage with those lovely ladies just knowing that I worked hard and made it happen! I am a lady with many hidden talents. The first time I shot a bow and arrow, I hit dead-center bulls eye. I have a poem published in the Stars in Our Hearts World Poetry Movement Book. I have my artwork tattooed on four people, including myself (I did not tattoo, just designed). I designed and created my own dress for my Junior prom, and continue to design and sew in my spare time. I am also an Honors Student with a 4.0 GPA in our local college, recently have been invited to join Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. Nothing can stop me from achieving success with at least one of my many aspirations! I have listed below a few of the modeling gigs I have taken part in, as well as my current measurements.
