Karina Rivadeneira was born in Carol City, Florida and grew up in Miami Gardens and Vero Beach, Florida. For as long as Karina could remember, she has had a keen passion in creating art, whether it be from sketching, painting, dancing the ballet, or salsa, as well as even putting on short plays during her childhood. From her teenage years, to her second year of college studying Graphic Design, she had developed an interest in developing artwork through photographs, acting, writing poetry and leading clubs for fashion within The Visual and Performing Arts program at Indian River State College and High School. Karina would frequently go to the bookstore on her rare days off from work and school to gaze at the vintage model and art scene magazines. She read the vintage model's names, as well as their stories behind their career and she had truly found what they stood for even more interesting. Most of them had a specific cause they stood for and believed in and they were passionate women, just as Karina believed herself to be. A woman of character, with a mind and a deep sense of intellectuality. She had wondered how magnificent it would be to be one of those models some day, not just any model, but a model with a cause, a mind, with respect for humanity; with dignity and class. Karina Isabel has been a Professional Model since age 16 and a stage actor since age 17. For the past 5 years, she has had an eclectic resume of her recent works and it continues. She has modeled for Dillard’s as a mannequin model for holiday events and participated in Dillard’s runway shows. Karina has participated in the 2013 Miss Hibiscus Pagaent in Vero Beach, FL. She also is a professional skater and is a Model/Actress within local Florida’s band, Luxurious Python’s Rock and Roll Music video. Karina Works with Central Florida’s Photographer Sveinn Kjartansson, of Lucious Ladie’s Florida Chapter. She has worked with Foto Lucid Photography, Juan Benavides, Bob Garas, Kai Honeck, Timothy Richards, Gil Sturgis, and Cinematographer Armin Alic. She has been showcased in Pin Up Pink Elephant Magazine, as well as being represented by Slate Management and The Virdition Audition Company. Karina’s current and recent projects include a Bikini Photoshoot for Zeckos online which now has made her photos available on Amazon. Karina feels certain qualities, including an intricate mindset and a creative nature combined, make it easy and fun to be social and be photogenic. She believes every job will teach you something crucially important, even if it may seem more pacified than others, but whichever lessons other jobs may teach, can be very important within the expansion of one’s career and future. Karina’s true desire has manifested itself today into her present reality. What a gift this has been for her and she feels as if she truly has a passion and dedication to continue flourishing within the Film Industry and Modeling. Karina has shared with us the following about the drive behind her aspirations, “I want to act, not to be an actress, but to become the character. I want to model because I truly enjoy falling in love with the camera, whilst reminding myself that I want to share all of my heart through a photo or scene. I consider myself to be a very inept person when it comes to work. I may be young, but I am a focused, very passionate individual for anything that I do.” Hide
