Life can sometimes throw curve balls and speed bumps in your path but it's up to u to decide which way u want to go. U have the easy way which is turning around and going back the ten steps u just took forward or u have the hardest way which is fighting through it and conquering the hardest situation no matter how much pain sweat and tears u put in. My life hasn't been the Best nor the Worst but it's made me who I am today, a driven independent single mother that's spent 28 years trying to figure out who I am. When I was young everyone knew me as the tom boy. The only girl on the baseball team out with the boys playing rough,getting dirty and loving the reactions I got. Growing up was hard having my parents divorced at the age 8 and then being told the man that I called Dad wasn't really who he portrayed himself to be. After this barrier happened is when my life turned for the worst. I didn't care about myself I skipped school , hung with the wrong crowd, failed classes. I just had the i don't care attitude, then came the drugs. Needless to say I'm four years clean August 8 2016!!???? I feel blessed everyday to wake up to my beautiful little boy that always has the most unconditional love no matter what mommy did or was doing. I've conquered my demons and still fight everyday. I met my father when I was 18 and it was like I always knew who he was and now we don't go a day without speaking he's my Rock along with my mother and now fiancé. I've had my run ins and hard ships but it's all been worth it in the end. I will say I'm one Bad Bitch and not afraid to say where I've come from. Born in Wilmington De I've always felt like my family is like a tree "we might grow in different directions and go different ways but at the end we're still grounded by the same beliefs and roots. I've triumphed into an aspiring tattoo model where my tattoos tell my story. I've given back by becoming a nurse that takes care of the elderly and has loved all seven years of it. They say nurses with tattoos are cooler ???? I live every moment as if it's my last and am a strong believer of finding my true inner self. Veni Vedi Vici meaning I came I saw I conquered..
