Kim Fischer is an actor, dancer and writer from Oakland, California. He moved to New York City in 2007 to study acting at NYU and has been performing in theater, TV and film ever since. Kim Fischer is an actor, dancer and writer from Oakland, California. He moved to New York City in 2007 to study acting at NYU and has been performing in theater, TV and film ever since. He grew up dancing and acting, and was a part of an Oakland-based Youth Performance Company called Destiny Arts where he created and performed original work in youth prisons, theaters, and retreat centers all over the Bay Area. During his senior-year of high school, he competed in the Beach Blanket Babylon Scholarship competition, and won first prize in the acting category, receiving a $10,000 scholarship. He has performed regionally as a star baseball player in CHILL, young prince Malcolm in MACBETH, and a rapper/beat boxer in Idris Goodwin's How We Got On. He has performed as a dancer in the cast of Then She Fell (Third Rail Projects) and Fuerza Bruta (Daryl Roth Theater). Other theater credits include: Romeo and Juliet (Actors Theatre of Louisville), and nightnight (Actors Theatre of Louisville). TV includes: The Get Down (Netflix), Royal Pains (USA), and One Bad Choice (MTV). Film includes: I Can I Will I Did. He is an alumnus of the Actors Theatre of Louisville acting apprentice program.
